Chromium Picolinate - Diabetes Although many studies were done on the effects of chromium picolinate to people with diabetes, the Food and Drug Administration, after reviewing petition for qualified health claims, concluded that "One small study suggests that chromium picolinate may reduce the risk of insulin resistance, and therefore possibly may reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.
