Andy Q. Zhang, a prominent Chinese cultural expert in Chicago with 17 years of extensive experiences. As a popular educator, trainer, instructor, editor and researcher, Andy possesses rich expertise in Mandarin Chinese language teaching and Chinese cultural research. Andy owns practical work experiences in Asia Pacific, Europe and United States. Andy is a certified teacher with distinguished scores evaluated by Illinois Certification Testing Systems (ICTS).

Prior Experiences

The previous agency and companies Andy has served include Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, China National Electronics Import & Export Corp., Silicon International Limited, VTEL, Motorola and Ericsson.

Being an editor and contributing Editor of Five influential Chinese business magazines such as China Mobile Communications, Communications World Weekly, Telecom World, China Data Communications and Communications Today, Andy has been the author of 210+ published articles and numerous researches made on Chinese linguistics and China-Western cultural comparison analysis. Andy is the author of “The Quest of Managed Operation in Telecom Arena” (426 pages, published in Beijing , September, 2003) and three books (Learning Mandarin Chinese by Cultural Correlation I, II & III) are undergoing and expected to be published in 2007.

Education

Andy received his Bachelor Degree in Economics (Majored in Business Education) from Lanzhou Commercial College and his Executive MBA from School of Business, Stockholm University. Andy is an expected candidate for Master of Science in Education (MS Ed) in Northwestern University (Fall 2008).
