INTRODUCTION

Taiwan stock market is always very speculative.  While most investors and speculators focus on technology stocks, intelligent investors might take a look at traditional industries.

However, when Americans try to open an account in Taiwan in order to trade Taiwan stocks, they are likely to be disappointed.  Today, Taiwan is still yet to have easy procedures for foreigners to trade their stocks.
